The following message contains important information from Henrietta Town Hall:

Please be advised that there are solicitors canvassing neighborhoods in Henrietta, some of whom have a solicitor’s permit with identification andothers who do not.

We have been receiving phone calls from residents concerning an individual who is implying that he has an internship with the Town of Henrietta and updating student handbooks. He does not have identification or a permit. The Town does not have any solicitors out in neighborhoods gathering information.

It is not advisable to let anyone you do not know into your home for any reason - to use the bathroom, get a drink of water, or use the phone, etc...

If someone you do not know comes to your door – keep the screen door shut, ask them for identification and a copy of their solicitors permit issued by the Town of Henrietta. Be aware of what kind of car they are driving and a description of the person. If they do not have any identification and seem suspicious, contact the Sheriff’s Department by dialing 911.
